My Oil Painting, Tailgate Show Feb.20-22

Hi Yall. Thought I would share one of my oil paintings. As I have said before, I do not do the amount of work I did in years past. In fact, I have barely done just a few pieces in the last 10 years since I have been working full time as bookkeeper for my husband's business. However; in the past couple of years I have gotten things under control in the books, and worked toward time allowance. Took me a few years just to get things organized, especially after we changed software. Those of you who paint understand what it is like to have even a few uninterrupted hours to get into a project. Of course we have those horses, farms, antiques and shows, grand-children.... This is an oil I painted of my husband bird hunting with his brittanies Gabby and Ace. Ace is in training in AL now, but Gabby is home and running around like a whirlwind, leaping and jumping from one place to another. She is so lovable.

Sometime I will do a gallery of paintings, but I had this one on the computer so here it is. I also included a few pictures I have taken in preparation for the Nashville Tailgate Showcoming up Feb, 20-22 at the Nashville State Fairgrounds. If you attend, please look me up under Country Charisma. My hope is that each of you will find this year to be filled with hope and prosperity, no matter what the forecast! Keep your eyes lifted up! Blessings, carrell

Primitive shaker chair, blue crocker, candy mold, spongeware, yellowware food mold, churn, lemon squeezer, butter mold, coffee grinder, and enamelware all find a homey spot on my kitchen table for this photo.

My old pre-Hoosier style kitchen cupboard is home for a collection of blue crockery with a blue swirl graniteware water heater on top. This water tank once fit on the side of a wood cook stove. Wish I could have seen the entire stove!
